about

movies for the ears – Lucid Culture

…single-handedly redefines the concept of cowboy-boot-gazin’ ambient music while
smoking Pell Mell and flirting w/ Ennio Morricone
– mutt-R

Morricone composing surf music on Laudnum…performed at a secret opium den in the basement of CBGB’s
– Craig Clevenger – cyber-punk author

Residing somewhere between the work of Pell Mell, Brian Eno and Giant Sand, 'Music for Driving and Film, vol ii' is a cycle of soundtracks that transports the listener to a very familiar place. You’ve been here before, roaring down a stretch of highway, shifting gears, going from full throttle to a downhill coast, taking in saturated colors, blurring lines, slowing but never stopping. You awake from the dream in front of a giant silver screen that takes you back again.
