about

Ramona The Pest's third and final album. Stripped down to a basic trio, the album captures the band after extensive touring and time spent arranging the music together.

Valerie's songs take on a more basic pop structure as the result of a "song every day for 30 days" writing experiment and the trio format opens up space for a simpler, bigger rock sound. It is my favorite RTP album and contains several of my favorite RTP tracks, "All the Pretty Birds" and "Somedays are Wrong".

This original song sequence has been restored for this 2013 release, in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the original CD release - which contains a sequence that was the result of a somewhat ill-advised last minute change, by um, me.
